The committe has been established to support and to bring students from such communities to the main stream. The Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). committee promotes the special interests of students in the reserved category. It provides special inputs in areas where the students experience difficulties.
The Sc/ ST cell of the college was established with the purpose to empower the SC/ ST students in the college.
Objectives
- To counsel and guides SC/ ST students and help them to feel safe and secure.
- To provide mechanism to redress the grievances of SC/ ST students.
- Help the SC/ ST students in getting scholarships and other benefits to which they are entitled to.
- To manage the emotional challenges of the SC/ST students to ensure their better future.
