CODE  OF  CONDUCT  FOR  STUDENTS

  1. Students should abide by the rules and regulations of the college and maintain discipline and decorum both inside and outside the premises of the college.
  2. The students shall attend all the classes regularly as per the time table issued by the college.
  3. The students are expected to be in the class well within the time and late comers may loose attendance if they do not adhere to timings.
  4. At the time of admission, each student will be issued an identity card and students are expected to carry the card.
  5. No students shall leave the class room when the class is going on without permission of the teacher.
  6. Students shall not wander or gather in the premises of the college after the class hours.
  7. Students shall not cause or incite others to cause damage to the property of the college.
  8. Students should make fair and proper use of the library and spend the time in library as much as possible,they should  strictly adhere  to the rules and regulations of the library
  9. Students are expected to take proper use of sports facilities and computer laboratory and also stick to the rules and regulations of the computer lab.
  10. The students shall attend all the internal Assessments comprising of Tests/ Assignments/ projects/ Moot court/Viva voice/ Journal submission without fail.
  11. Students shall compulsorily participate in the extra- curricular activities conducted by the college. They can also plan programmes and submit in written format to the Principal. The Principal after consulting the faculty members may give the approval. Thereafter, the students can conduct the program after discussing the modalities with the faculty.
  12. Students are expected to observe all the internet and social media rules and etiquettes inside the college premises.
  13. Any kind of communal Activity, Political activity, Propaganda etc is strictly prohibited inside the premises of the college.
  14. Students shall strictly adhere to all rules and regulations issued by the Karntaka State Law University, Hubballi with regard to conduct of examinations, attendance  etc.
  15. Smoking , chewing of gutka, consumption of alcoholic drinks is strictly prohibited inside the premises of the college, failing which strict disciplinary action shall be taken against such student.
  16. Ragging is banned in the college and if any student found indulging in any such activity shall be punished as per the existing rules.
  17. Students may put up their grievances before Grievance cell, consisting of faculty members who shall proceed with the same as per Rules.
  18. Any kind of misbehaviour shall attract punishment and penalty.
  19. Students shall not pass any derogatory comments about the staff of the college.
  20. Students shall maintain cordial and healthy relationship with staff and fellow students and maintain the dignity and integrity of the institution.

CODE  OF  CONDUCT  FOR  THE STAFF

  1. The staff shall, at all times, maintain absolute integrity and honesty and shall be devoted to duty.
  2. The staff shall be present at the place of his/ her duty during the prescribed working hours. They shall not be absent from the duty without prior permission or grant of leave except for genuine reasons and for emergencies/ contingencies.
  3. The staff shall obtain the permission of the Principal if they want to attend late or leave the college early, as the case may be. Any  habitual late coming or absence without proper permission will be viewed seriously and  action be initiated as per KCSR.
  4. The staff who intends to represent matters of Government or any authorities shall take prior written permission of the Management for the purpose.
  5. The staff shall not indulge in any violence or any conduct which involves moral turpitude
  6. The staff shall not discriminate any student on the grounds of caste, creed, sect, religions, sex, nationality or language.
  7. Staff shall not refuse to carry out the reasonable and appropriate decisions taken by the appropriate authorities of the college.
  8. No staff shall join or continue to the a member of an Association the objects or activities of which are prejudicial to the Sovereignty and Integrity of India or public order or morality.

CODE  OF  CONDUCT  FOR   TEACHING STAFF

  1.  Every teacher shall engage classes regularly, punctually and maintain and strengthen the standard of academic excellence.
  2. Academic duties shall be properly conducted which shall include guidance and instructions to students for seminars, practicals and assessment Examination, Valuation work assigned by the college/ University.
  3. No teacher shall be partial in assessing the performance of students in tests, examinations, assignments, practicals etc.
  4. No teacher shall resort to unauthorized use of college resources.
  5. No teacher shall resort to cuts of plagarism or other non ethical behaviour in teaching and research.
  6. Every teacher shall participate in co- curricular and extra–curricular activities, including extension activities.
  7. Every teacher shall recognise the difference in aptitude and capabilities among students and strive to meet their individual needs and shall be available to students after class hours.
  8. Every teacher shall refrain from inciting students against other students, colleagues or administration.
